We are The Glass Yard, brother and sister team Lucy and Charlie and talented co-workers Sian, Emily and Nikki. 

 

We’ve grown up around engraving: our father is a stone engraver, and our grandfather was too. In 2013 we took the plunge and started our own engraving company. We run The Glass Yard from a studio in Suffolk, where we carry out all design work and engraving in-house. 

 

We believe engraving is a bit like magic; something ordinary can be transformed into a meaningful treasure by etching your words into its surface. We like to push the traditional boundaries, and be creative with the design side of things. We will engrave (almost) anything, from lightbulbs to yard of ale glasses.
